SpeedyDry is the result of years of pressroom frustration. Two press operators with over 50 years combined experience set out to create a cost effective solution to an age old printing problem, wet ink. After countless hours in the lab and the pressroom, SpeedyDry was born.
SpeedyDry was continuously worked and reformatted until the formula was perfected just over two years ago. Since then, the commercial printing market has warmed to the possibility of stress-free-printing. The technical advance SpeedyDry represents has also made news in the industry. The product received recognition as a 2005 Intertech Award for Innovative Excellence™ recipient. The fact that a printer can use conventional ink and SpeedyDry to securely print without expensive UV systems is a major breakthrough.
